Manufactured carbon neutral, Paper Excellence’s Sage is a compelling paper product. We calculate our carbon emissions associated with each tonne of Sage sold, and then purchase equal quantity of high-quality, third-party and reputably validated carbon offsets.
Paper Excellence’s Sage grade of papers have all the same core environmental attributes as our other papers and pulps.

Our sage products are produced using fibre from sustainably well-managed forests and are made with 100% third-party certified fibre. Sage papers are manufactured scope 1 carbon neutral, an accomplishment made possible through decades of steady reductions in direct carbon emissions at our mills.

A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH FROM START TO FINISH
Paper Excellence buys fibre from local sawmills and forest tenure holders and owners. We use responsibly sourced fibre in the form of wood chips, which are byproducts of lumber manufacturing, and pulp logs, which are poor quality logs that are unsuitable for lumber manufacturing. Each of our pulp mills use globally recognized chain-of-custody standards.
