Media Statement:
[Richmond, BC] – Paper Excellence would like to thank Minister Dana Skoropad and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for doing a thorough and thoughtful Environmental Assessment of the Prince Albert Pulp Inc. mill re-start project. We are pleased to receive environmental approval; this is an important project milestone.
With provincial environmental approval achieved, the project is still subject to market conditions and ongoing work to secure financing for the project.
We acknowledge the strong public support for the project and continue to be committed to keeping the public, stakeholders, and rights holders informed on the progress of the project going forward.
