Paper Excellence’s Indigenous Relations program is rooted in a thoughtful, policy-driven approach reflecting our dedication to building connections with Indigenous communities.

Here are four recent examples of our Indigenous Relations program in action:

• As Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCBA) members who are certified in CCAB’s Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) program, we value taking part in Indigenous-led events: CCAB events focus on partnerships, belonging and humanity
• We focus our donations towards projects that support Reconciliation through investing in the next generation: Paper Excellence Canada Donates $50,000 to Empower Indigenous Youth Through the Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP)
• We build our cultural competencies so that our leadership understands the importance of Reconciliation and offers them professional development in this area: Indigenous Cultural Awareness Talk for Leaders
• Our mill-based teams build long-term local relationships with Indigenous communities: Supporting Indigenous Learning on the Sunshine Coast
