Thank you to Port Alberni Mayor Sharie Minions for sitting down with our staff to discuss Highway 4 access and the ongoing challenges associated with frequent highway closures.

We appreciate the Mayor’s efforts to raise the profile of this important matter. Our mill depends on Highway 4 access for supplies, product movement and employee access to the mill. We look forward to continued dialogue with Mayor Minions and working together on solutions to this critical matter which affects the whole Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District.
