The Paper Excellence Canada team has many people taking part in PACWEST this year and they are all excited to be part of the first in-person PACWEST since 2019!

Gavin Baxter, who is the General Manager of our Skookumchuck pulp mill in the East Kootenays, is Co-Chair of PACWEST Conference 2023 this year.

In the Friday technical sessions, Henok Gebremariam and Jouni Martiskainen are both presenting:

Scott Curry, Director of Engineering, is co-chairing the Wednesday Engineering Managers Roundtable, with input from Stuart Nash, EGBC Manager, Individual Audits and Practice Reviews, and is also presenting on Thursday’s session about the EGBC’s Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) with Phil Chan, EGBC Trainer/Auditor, Regulation of Firms.

Finally, Davis Chiu, Director of Innovation and Acting Head of Carbon Strategy, is speaking on the Senior Executives Forum Panel Thursday morning alongside Bruce Ralston, Minister of Forests. The Panel will give delegates an understanding of where the industry is going as a whole.
