This week, the leadership of Paper Excellence Canada and our sister companies – Domtar and Resolute Forest Products – came together for an Indigenous cultural awareness talk in advance of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
Our thanks to Chief Ian Campbell of the Squamish First Nation and Rob Everson, Hereditary Chief of the Gigal’ga̱m ‘Walas Kwagu’ł, for their frank and thoughtful presentations on both the history and effects of colonialism on Indigenous Peoples and their own personal perspectives on Truth and Reconciliation.
